Whether you're looking to test your eating skills or simply cheer on the competitors, this Independence Day event promises plenty of excitement while supporting a great cause.
Contest details:
🌭 $5 entry per round
🌭 Four rounds throughout the evening
🌭 Each round lasts 15 minutes
🌭 Contestants must eat 10 hot dogs and buns
🌭 The first person in each round to finish wins $20 cash
Contest Schedule
Round 1 — 4:00 PM
Round 2 — 5:00 PM
Round 3 — 6:00 PM
Round 4 — 7:00 PM
Can't make the first round? No problem! You can join any remaining round and still compete for prizes.
At the end of the day, the competitor who eats the most hot dogs and buns across all rounds will take home the Grand Prize Cash Pot. The jackpot started at $50 and has already grown to over $100 thanks to generous community donations, with additional contributions increasing the prize as the event approaches.
Best of all, every entry fee will benefit Steve Williams, a longtime friend of Bohemian Tavern who recently experienced a medical emergency and could use the support of the Cottage Grove community.
