Spirit of Bohemia Mining Days presents the inaugural Driving For Gold Golf Tournament & Fundraiser at Hidden Valley Golf Course. This 18-hole, four-person scramble combines friendly competition with prizes, raffles, live entertainment and support for local educational programs.

Proceeds benefit Bohemia Academy’s youth leadership, hands-on local history education, school outreach, community heritage programs and historic preservation work. Live music will be provided by Perfect Flavor, featuring Bradley Shepherd.

Tournament activities include team prizes, closest-to-the-pin and longest-drive contests, raffle baskets, tournament swag and several hole-in-one prizes. The qualifying grand prize is $25,000 toward a new vehicle, with additional prizes including a seven-night getaway, golf equipment and a YETI cooler.

Check-in begins at 7:00 AM, followed by the shotgun start at 8:00 AM. Registration is limited to 15 four-person teams, and entries must be received by September 11, 2026.

The entry fee is $50 per person. Registration includes greens fees, participation in the hole-in-one competitions and a $10 El Rincon food voucher. Golf carts are not included and are available in limited quantities. To reserve a cart, call Hidden Valley Golf Course at 541-942-3046.
