Join the American Red Cross and local community partners for a free Emergency Shelter Training Workshop in Cottage Grove.

Hosted at the Rural Organizing Project, this hands on training will teach participants how emergency shelters are set up and operated during disasters, along with the essential resources needed to support both people and pets during emergency situations.

This workshop is open to the public and designed for anyone interested in disaster preparedness, emergency response, mutual aid, or community support efforts.

Pre registration is encouraged but not required.

Training runs both Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
