Poetry Night at The Cottage offers a warm and welcoming evening for writers, readers, musicians, storytellers, and anyone who enjoys hearing words brought to life. This monthly Cottage Grove gathering takes place on the third Tuesday of each month and gives participants a supportive space to share original work or favorite pieces.

Guests may sign up to share up to nine minutes of poetry or another creative performance. Past evenings have welcomed poetry, music, readings, dance, and dramatic presentations. You do not have to perform to attend—listeners and poetry lovers are equally welcome to settle in and enjoy the evening.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, giving guests time to find a seat and enjoy an optional house-made dinner before the program. Poetry and performances begin at 7:30 PM.

Admission: Poetry Night is free to attend. An optional house-made beef lasagna dinner is available for $12, and vegan, gluten-free soup is available for $8. Beer, wine, cider, and other beverages may also be purchased separately.
