Cottage Theatre welcomes spooky season with opening night of The Addams Family, a musical comedy featuring the wonderfully macabre family audiences know and love. The production features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.

The story follows Wednesday Addams after she falls in love with someone surprisingly normal. When the Addams family invites her boyfriend and his straight-laced parents to dinner, the attempt at an ordinary evening quickly becomes a night of awkward encounters, unexpected secrets and musical mayhem.

Opening night begins at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 2. The production continues through October 25, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday matinees at 2:30 PM. The official listing does not publish an ending time.
