The event takes place at Axe & Fiddle, a downtown Cottage Grove pub, restaurant, and live entertainment venue located in the historic Burkholder Woods Building.
Kick Off Halloween With Night of the Living Dead
The festivities begin at 5:30 PM with a screening of Night of the Living Dead, presented by Kino Kult.
If you enjoy classic horror movies, this is a fitting way to kick off Halloween evening.
But the movie isn't the only thing happening early in the night.
The organizers have also announced:

8:30 PM: DJ Baloogz
DJ Baloogz takes over with a mix of house, hip-hop, jungle, drum & bass, and jazz.
9:30 PM: DJ Eliot Lipp
Later in the evening, DJ Eliot Lipp brings EDM and electro-funk to Axe & Fiddle.

Halloween Costume Contest With Hundreds in Prizes

The Halloween Costume Contest begins at 9:00 PM, with four announced categories:
Scariest: Bring your creepiest Halloween creation.
Best Couple: A chance for pairs to show off their coordinated costumes.
Most Original: Something creative that stands out from the usual Halloween crowd.
Best Overall: The top overall costume of the night.
The organizers are advertising hundreds of dollars in prizes.

Food, Drinks & Halloween Fun in Downtown Cottage Grove
One of the convenient things about having this event at Axe & Fiddle is that it's also an established restaurant and pub.
Located at 657 E Main Street, the venue serves food and drinks and regularly hosts live music and community entertainment.
