Spend a fall evening exploring art, local businesses and Cottage Grove’s historic Main Street during the October edition of the Cottage Grove Last Friday Art Walk. The free event will take place from 6:00–8:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026, throughout the downtown Cottage Grove business district.
The Cottage Grove Art Walk has celebrated local creativity in historic downtown Cottage Grove for more than a decade. The seasonal series is held on the last Friday of the month from April through November, creating opportunities for artists to exhibit their work and for downtown businesses to welcome new visitors.
Guests can stroll along Main Street, visit participating shops and discover artwork displayed inside storefronts and other downtown spaces. Past Art Walks have included paintings, photography, handmade art, creative demonstrations, live entertainment and opportunities for visitors to make art of their own. Specific October artists, activities and participating locations may be announced closer to the event.
The Art Walk committee is made up of volunteers who connect local artists with Cottage Grove businesses, organize entertainment and help support the arts throughout the community. The event operates under the auspices of Another Way Enterprises, a nonprofit organization supporting local community projects.
This is an easy event to enjoy as a date night, an outing with friends or a relaxed family evening. Visitors can begin anywhere along the historic Main Street district and explore at their own pace. Consider combining the Art Walk with dinner, drinks or shopping at one of downtown Cottage Grove’s locally owned establishments.
Admission: The Cottage Grove Last Friday Art Walk is free to attend, and no advance registration or ticket is required. Purchases from artists, restaurants and participating businesses are optional and are not included as part of the event.
